Realtime Monitoring of BaTiO3 Phase transition
Intoduction
With thanks to the high strain sensitivity of x-ray, properties and distribution of crystalline materials can be visualized with X-ray Diffraction Topography. We monitored a transition of ferroelectric domain in BaTiO3 using high flux X-ray diffraciton microscopy (2BM, APS).

Monitoring of BaTiO3 phase transition is possible with aid of high strain sensivity of X-ray and high brillaince of 2BM beamline at APS. At phase transition temperature (T=120), ferroelectric domain walls start to rearrange as time goes by.
